VJHS boy’s basketball team defeated Madison Middle School 42-39 on Thursday

Vicksburg Junior High School boy’s basketball team started their season off with a 42-39 win on Thursday over Madison Middle School.

Jaquez Jones led the team with 16 points while Marlyn Foy and Corderrion Valentine both added eight points. Wallace Curry also contributed six points in the win.

The Gators are now 1-0 under Head Coach Jerdon Hardiman.
