WC defeated Germantown in overtime on Thursday

Warren Central High School boy’s basketball team got a 55-52 overtime win over Germantown on Thursday.

“We hesitated for a bit but we’re coming along and I’m proud we came out with the win,” WC Head Coach Keith Williams said.

Padre Gray Jr. led the Vikings with 26 points and Gaylon Turner Jr. followed with 14 on the board. Jonathan Henderson and Ananias Thompson both added five points in the win and Deonta Segrest put up four.

The Vikings will play again on Saturday against Vicksburg High School.
