Warren Central High School football team went on the road to Gulfport and handled business by getting a 38-3 win.

The Admirals would get the first score of the night late in the first quarter with a 29-yard field goal by Aiden Powell.

The Vikings quickly responded with a 49-yard touchdown by Trey Hall and a extra point by Jonah Artman to go up 7-3 with 1:28 left in the quarter.

By halftime, WC was up 17-3 after Mark Gray scored a short touchdown and Artman knocked down a 23-yard field goal.

Coming out of halftime, the Vikings would control the third quarter as well with Hall and Darius Carter both getting short rushing touchdowns to push their lead to 31-3.

Trey Sanders also had an interception for WC.

Early on in the fourth quarter, WC would kill all of Gulfport’s hope after Eric Collins Jr. scored on a 21-yard run with 9:09 seconds left in the game.

The Viking defense held up all night and played tough football to help bring home the road win as they will once again advance to the second round of the playoffs.

WC will be at home next week where they will host Brandon on Friday as their season is still alive and well.
