No excuses: Let’s pack the stands and support the Gators

The third round of the playoffs is happening tonight with Vicksburg High School hosting West Point for the North State Title.

The Gators (10-2) and the Green Wave (10-2) will square off at 7 p.m. The winner will advance to the State Championship Game.

VHS is coming off a 27-22 win against Callaway. This is the first time since 2001 that the Gators have advanced to the third round of the playoffs.

Earlier this week, VHS called onto the whole city to show support for their program, the only remaining team in Warren County in the playoffs.

Football fans are expected to pack the stands tonight and cheer on the Gators who have shown they are ready to take on anyone in their way of the state title.
