Former WC football players Jaylin and TJ Thompson signed with four-year schools

Former Warren Central High football players TJ Thompson and Jaylin Thompson both signed to four-year schools on Tuesday.

Thompson signed with Troy on Tuesday after spending the 2022 season starring at East Central CC. He racked up 87 tackles and two forced fumbles at the linebacker position.

Thompson was the VDN Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 while playing for WC where he rushed for over 1,000 yards while helping the Vikings to a second-round playoff appearance.

Jaylin Thompson:

Jaylin chose Mississippi College as his next destination.

Thompson also played for ECCC in 2022 and signed with Mississippi College. He was selected to the All-MACCC Team after grabbing 39 tackles and two interceptions including a pick 6.

At WC, Thompson was selected to the VDN All-County Team as he starred under Head Coach Josh Morgan.
