Franklin and Williams selected to play in All-Star Games

Vicksburg High School boy’s basketball players Malik Franklin and Davian Williams have been selected to play in All-Star Games.

Franklin will participate in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Game on March 11 in Mobile, Alabama.

“I feel excited and I’m really glad that I got picked because at first I didn’t play much but now it’s a dream come true,” Franklin said.

Williams will play in the  North/South All-Star Game on March 18.

“It feels good and I’m blessed because I came a long way and I’m thankful for this opportunity,” Williams said.

Both Franklin and Williams are averaging over 15 points per game this season and has led VHS to a current 19-2 season under Head Coach Kelvin Carter.
