Missy Gators defeated Clinton in the final seconds on Friday

The Vicksburg High School girl’s basketball team defeated Clinton High School 65-62 on the Arrows senior night.

Ja’Na Colenburg led the Missy Gators with 23 points including the game-winning 3-pointer. Layla Carter pulled down 10 rebounds to go with her 17 points. Janiah Caples scored eight points and Kalia Bland added six. Cynia Johnson hit a couple of free throws late in the game along with a tough layup to finish with five points.

Kierra James pitched in four points and Jelisa Tyler finished with two.

The Missy Gators are 23-5 on the year under head coach Troy Stewart.
