Port Gibson High School boy’s basketball coach Hulon Newsome has been named as the Region 7-3A Coach of the Year.

“It feels great and we work hard constantly so it’s nice to see everything paying off,” Newsome said.

Newsome, who is in his third year as the Blue Waves Head Coach, is currently leading the team who has a now 17-6 record while heading into the district tournament.
