Jefferson High School boy’s basketball team defeated Wesson 67-51 on Tuesday to advance to the second round of the district tournament.

Luke Bolin led with 14 points followed by Javian Nichols who added 13. Knowledge Ragin scored 11 and Royale Shelvy ended with nine in the win.

The Tigers will face Port Gibson on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Franklin County.
