Man with machete involved in domestic dispute

Just before 3:30 p.m., Vicksburg police were dispatched to the ASAM Hotel at 4041 Washington Street for a report of a domestic dispute involving a machete.
A man was seen being escorted by Vicksburg Police Officers while they removed the machete.
The man was detained by VPD while police discussed the situation with the woman involved in the dispute.
The woman was later seen walking away from the scene with another man.
There is no report if the woman pressed charges or if the man was taken into custody.
On January 15, 2023, three people were arrested on warrants at the ASAM Hotel.
