VHS defeated Natchez 11-0 on Monday

Vicksburg High School baseball team traveled to Natchez on Monday and came back with an 11-0 win.

A single by Kealon Bass got the Gators on the board first as they took the 1-0 lead.

VHS wouldn’t get back on the board again until the third after singles from Chris Green, Kearris Gilliam and Connor Harrigill along with a triple from Tyler Carter to put the score at 5-0.

Bass would get another RBI in the fifth as VHS went up 6-0.

The Gators would pick up five runs in the sixth  after Bass and Harrigill got RBIs along with Carter who got another triple in the 11-0 win.

Braylon Green struck out five and allowed two hits.

Chris Green went 3 for 3 at the plate while Bass and Carter each had two hits. Carter led with four RBIs while Harrigill and Bass had two. Gilliam also had a hit.

The Gators will travel to Greenville on Friday.
