Reformed Theological Seminary hires John Ingram as new Director of Finance
Reformed Theological Seminary has recently hired John Ingram as its new Director of Finance. Ingram has taken up the position as of Apr. 3.
With over seven years of experience in public accounting as an auditor, Ingram joins the seminary from GranthamPoole PLLC in Ridgeland, Miss. where he worked in the audit department since 2015. During his time at GranthamPoole, he supervised and performed financial audits for a variety of clients, including nonprofit organizations. His areas of expertise include financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
As the new Director of Finance at RTS, Ingram will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to oversee the seminary’s finance and accounting teams. This will include monitoring cash flow, maintaining financial records and reports, performing internal audits, and ensuring that monetary operations run smoothly.
Ingram is a Certified Public Accountant since 2017 and is an alumnus of Mississippi State University where he earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree with minors in business administration and economics. He is also a member of Grace Baptist Church at Castlewoods in Brandon, Miss. where he teaches adult Sunday school classes on occasion.
“I am excited for this opportunity to serve at RTS,” said Ingram. “Theological education is a much-needed ministry for our churches today, and RTS has a proven history of providing robust education to many students training for Christian ministry. I am looking forward to using the skills I have developed during my time in public accounting to assist in this work.”
