On June 20, uniformed Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies, investigators, and investigators from the Vicksburg Police Department, successfully apprehended a suspect who was wanted on two separate grand jury capias warrants. The warrants included charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of a stolen firearm.

The warrant was served at a residence on Dry Creek Road. The suspect, identified as 37-year-old Justin Briggs Boler, attempted to flee into the nearby woods but was swiftly apprehended by the pursuing authorities. During the arrest, Bowler was found to be armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

Bowler is currently being held without bond.
