Ring Road burglary suspect arrested

A burglary was reported in the 300 block of Ring Road on Thursday at about 6 p.m.
Deputy Dusty Keyes responded to the scene at about 7:15 p.m. and stopped someone walking in the area, carrying a bag.
In the bag was a .410 gauge shotgun and the suspect was identified as 40-year-old Johnny Brian Alexander of Warren County. Security video identified him as the burglar.
On Friday, Judge Randy Lewis set bail at $30,000 for Alexander’s charges of Burglary and Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The MDOC has placed a detainer on him for violating his probation and he will remain in the Warren County Jail.
