Terrell “Bear” Dewayne Robinson, 1982-2023

Terrell “Bear” Dewayne Robinson was born on July 5, 1982, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to Dorothy Jean Robinson and David Wayne Anderson. On Sunday, August 20, 2023, at River Region Medical Center, Terrell entered eternal life at age 41.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Wayne Anderson of Vicksburg, Mississippi; two grandmothers, Leona Pugh Robinson and Laura Anderson, both of Vicksburg, MS; two grandfathers, Houston (Monk) Allen and Eugene Anderson, Sr., both of Vicksburg, MS; one aunt, Carol Anderson of Vicksburg, MS and uncle Archie Lacey of Santa Monica, CA.

Terrell accepted Christ at an early age at Rock of Ages Baptist Church. He lived a selfless life of giving and spent most of his time with family and friends. He was a very gentle soul who would never meet a stranger. Terrell was a 2001 graduate of Vicksburg High School. He continued his education at Hinds Community College and Alcorn State University.

Terrell leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Dorothy Robinson of Vicksburg, MS; two brothers, Jeremy (Latoya) Robinson of Clinton, MS, and Chakoby Anderson of Springfield, IL; two nieces, Amoure Robinson and Taylor Grace Robinson of Clinton, MS; one nephew, Tyler Jace Robinson of Clinton, MS; one godmother, Annie Marie (Michael) Horton of Vicksburg, MS; six aunts, Tiffany (Michael) Walker, Linda Pugh, Lula (Albert) Butler, Mary Lou Anderson, Irma (Virdell Sr.) Lewis, all of Vicksburg, MS, and Barbara (Kevin) Smith of Lithonia, GA; twelve uncles, Bill Robinson, Eugene (Patricia) Anderson, Austin Anderson, Curtis Anderson, Melvin Anderson, Carl Anderson, and Howard Anderson, all of Vicksburg, MS, Harold (Rena) McWade of Clinton, MS, Richard Robinson of Jackson, MS, James Anderson of Dallas, TX, and Larry (Diane) Anderson of Rock Hill, SC; special people who were dear to his heart, Catherine Davis, Valarie Shepard, Dame Beard, Kimberly Steven, and Jasmine Stevens, all of Vicksburg, MS, Mia Woods, Nathaniel Wilson of Jackson, MS and Rhonda Battle of Austin, TX; and a host of numerous cousins, friends, and other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Terrell Robinson on August 27, 2023, 2:00 PM at Greater Grove Street M. B. Church, 2715 Alcorn Dr., Vicksburg, MS .

Visitation will be held at C J Williams Mortuary Services, 4310 Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg, MS on August 26, 2023 from 1:00 – 6:00 PM with family present from 4:00 – 6:00 PM.
