PCA demolished Park Place 38-0 on homecoming night

Porter’s Chapel Academy came out with a 38-0 win on homecoming night against Park Place Academy.

Jase Jung rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns while Ty Mack rushed for 138 yards and one touchdown. Mack also had one receiving touchdown.

John Wyatt Massey controlled things at the quarterback position where he completed 12 of 18 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns. Thomas Azlin had two receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown and Gavin Pugh had seven receptions for 39 yards.

Defensively, Hunter Simms grabbed seven tackles and a sack while Pugh also added five tackles. Connelly Johnston(one sack) and Jung(one interception)both had five tackles in the win.

PCA is now 6-0 on the year under head coach Blake Purvis.

Purvis did not provide a comment to VDN about the game.
