Porter’s Chapel Academy softball season came to an end on Saturday after taking two losses on Saturday in the double-elimination district playoffs.

The Lady Eagles took losses to Lamar and Laurel Christian.

PCA are under the leadership of Carlos Dawson who led the team to an 11-17 record, along with a trip to the playoffs.

Ali Blackmon and Olivia Dawson are the two seniors who will graduate in May. They helped the team secure big wins over teams like River Oaks Academy, Jackson Victors and Madison St. Joe.

The Lady Eagles were without a head coach until just a few months before the season. They made major improvements since the beginning of the season. Majority of team will be returning next year.
