Mississippi man arrested after allegedly killing his cousin

A man has been arrested after allegedly killing his cousin in Copiah County on Tuesday.

The incident took place on Rail Road Avenue in Georgetown where deputies received a call of shots fired in the area. 46-year-old was found deceased at the scene and 23-year-old Tyrekennel Collins was taken into custody.

Collins is being held at the Copiah County Detention Center. No motive has been released at this time.
