Vicksburg High School will travel to play Columbus on Friday night as they aim for their second district win.

The Gators (5-3) are coming off an 18-16 win over Callaway, a victory that bolstered their playoff hopes. They currently have a 1-2 record in district play under Head Coach Christopher Lacey.

This Friday’s match-up looks favorable for VHS, as the Falcons have a 1-8 record, with their sole win against New Hope (0-8). The highest point tally Columbus achieved in a game is 26, which occurred in last week’s 27-26 loss to Ridgeland.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Friday night at CHS.
