Warren Central High School girl’s soccer team started their season with a 5-1 win over Kosciusko.

“There was some moments that looked really good and this is one of the best team performances I’ve seen in a while,” WC Head Coach Jeremy Lawrence said.

By halftime, the Lady Vikes had a 3-1 lead and managed to maintain their excellent play in the second half.

Jordan Polk came away with three goals on the night while Gloria Hall and Melissa Herrle each had one goal.

WC’s Tuesday night performance has Coach Lawrence looking forward to a successful season in 2023.

“We’ve got a good district and I’m looking forward to seeing how we perform under pressure, and competing for that title is what we’re after,” Lawrence added.

WC will host Morton on Saturday.
