Choctaw Central pulled off a 67-63 win over Neshoba Central

Choctaw Central High School boys’ basketball team made a crucial comeback and defeated Neshoba Central 67-63.

Zyler Clemmons stepped up for the Warriors in the first half but they trailed 35-23 at halftime. The second half belonged to CC as Clemmons, Alan John Jr. and Jayce Sam all hit big 3-pointers as the Warriors regained the lead and finished the game on top.

Zyler Thomas finished with 11 points while Kaden Edwards and Sam both brought in nine points. Koie Williams put up eight points and Tyris Stokes added seven. John contributed three points and Elias Issac scored two.

The Warriors are coached by Delvin Thompson.
