Porter’s Chapel Academy Junior High basketball teams recently picked up wins.

The Lady Eagles defeated Tallulah Academy 23-16 on Thursday night as Emily Muirhead dropped 17 points. Mia Abdo added four points while Michaela Chambliss scored two points.

The boys secured a 48-10 win over Union Christian Academy. Clayton McClure led with 22 points and Corvin Finch scored 11. Coltin Hancock put up eight points while Wyatt Mullinax and Grayson Price both scored two points. Ryan LaBarre also hit a 3-pointer.

The Eagles will host Jackson Victors on Tuesday.
