Terry Treadwell, CEO of Merit Health River Region, announces exit to Texas

Terry Treadwell, CEO of Merit Health River Region, has announced his departure from the institution to return to his native San Antonio, Texas. The news was confirmed by a hospital representative on Tuesday.

Merit Health released a statement expressing their gratitude for his contributions, saying, “We thank Terry for all he has done and wish him continued success.”

Having joined the River Region team in July 2022, Treadwell’s tenure, albeit brief, was marked by his extensive healthcare leadership. Treadwell brought with him a remarkable 39 years of expertise in healthcare leadership.
