$300,000 bond set for gas station shooter

Xavier Kyle Taylor, 25, of Vicksburg, appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court Tuesday, May 26, before Judge Angela Carpenter for his initial appearance.

Taylor is accused in a drive-by shooting incident that occurred Friday, May 22, at the CITGO gas station at 1215 Mission 66.

One individual was shot in the incident. He is in stable condition according to police.

Taylor turned himself in Sunday to Vicksburg Police.

Charged with one count of drive-by shooting and one count of aggravated assault, judge Carpenter set his bond at $300,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
