VHS 2017 valedictorian, Nicholas Crasta, running for Student Governance Senator at Ole Miss

Vicksburg High School’s 2017 valedictorian, Nicholas Crasta, has announced that he is running for Student Governance Senator at the University of Mississippi.

“Greetings Ole Miss Family! I am ecstatic to announce that I am running for ASB Student Governance Senator. In this position, my goal is to diligently advocate for all students, making sure each voice is heard. I would appreciate your support in this journey,” Crasta wrote in a social media post.

The Associated Student Body at Ole Miss has three branches: executive, legislative, and judicial. These three branches together provide an advocacy resource for students on campus.

Crasta is a junior at Ole Miss and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, and he has maintained straight A’s throughout high school and college.

Crasta has a double major of Political Science and Biology.

Ole Miss students can vote via MyOleMiss on Wednesday, April 29, from 7 a.m until 7 p.m.
