Former VHS basketball player Karmen Davenport signs with Lincoln College

Former Vicksburg High School basketball player Karmen Davenport has signed to play basketball on the collegiate level at Lincoln College in Lincoln, Illinois.

Davenport helped lead the Gators to a 20-11 season last year, averaging 6.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. The team reached the semifinals in the playoffs.

Davenport’s best performance last season was against Germantown where she dropped 19 points for the Gators.

She spent most of her varsity years playing under VHS head coach Troy Stewart who helped her reach her highest potential as a player for the Gators.
