WC defeats crosstown rivals VHS 9-5 on Tuesday

Warren Central High School softball team defeated Vicksburg High School in a great match with a final score of 9-5.

Lili Kistler popped things off first for the Gators as she singled on a 2-2 count that led to two run-scores.

Annalyn Nevels and Abby Morgan got the win for the Lady Vikings as they both struck out three batters apiece.

Jenn Smith and Jill Smith both led WC with two run scores apiece, while Kellisia Walker finished with two as well for VHS.

Lexi Kistler pitched the game for the Missy Gators as she struck out four batters.

Mary Hossley, Kayleigh Karel, Kamryn Morson, Nevels and Makayla Jackson all had one run-score for the Vikings.

WC will be back in action on Thursday against Enterprise and VHS will travel to Clinton.
