Victim identified in Sunday morning’s crash

The identity of the victim in Sunday morning’s crash that left one dead in Vicksburg has been released.
34-year-old Eric Phillips has been identified as the deceased. He was driving on the Halls Ferry ramp to I-20 West when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree.
Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is currently under investigation.
