Vicksburg-Warren holds a food box distribution event

Saturday seems to be a day for charity, as several food distribution events are taking place.

Vicksburg-Warren County is hosting several locations to obtain food boxes for those in need.

The distributions began at 11 a.m. and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Locations include Calvary Baptist Church on Indiana Avenue, Travelers Rest Baptist Church on Bowmar Avenue, Crossway Church on Highway 61 South and Triumphant Baptist Church on RL Chase Circle.
