Hungry? Big Bees BBQ chicken dinners for Wayside Apostolic Church of Deliverance is happening now
Big Bee’s has begun serving plates to help donate to Wayside.
Big Bee’s may just be the place to put the Wayside worries to rest. As of this posting, the GoFundMe has raised over $3,000. Combined with the donations that have been made directly to the water company, local support from Vicksburg Mayor George Flaggs Jr. and people like Michael Gates, owner of Big Bees BBQ, the church bill may finally be settled and worries laid to rest.
There has been a lot of support for this effort. Fire Coordinator Jerry Briggs and E-911 Director Shane Garrard are on the scene, taking advantage of good food for a good cause.
Chicken dinners are on sale from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for $9. All the proceeds will go to Wayside Apostolic Church of Deliverance’s water bill the Church was left with after winter storms damaged and busted a water pipe to the church. The bill the church got left with was $3,833.28.
Michael Gates and his fundraising event for the cause may be just what we need to let the church and its members breathe a sigh of relief.
