Power of the Purse luxury handbag auction to benefit United Way of West Central Mississippi

United Way of West Central Mississippi invites you to attend Power of the Purse, a luxury handbag online auction to benefit the local United Way and the important work they do in our community.

Bidding is open from Thursday, June 17 at 5 p.m. through Sunday, June 20 at 5 p.m. and features handbags by Louis Vitton, Gucci, Coach, Michael Kors and more thanks to generous donations from local businesses.

Scan the QR code to register and see all of the beautiful handbags on offer in the online auction. Treat yourself or a loved one to a fine luxury handbag while helping to give back to an organization that works tirelessly to support our community and those in surrounding counties.

“It is always an honor to be a part of the United Way of West Central Mississippi,” Executive Director Michele Connelly said Thursday at the Sip & See preview event. “We try to fill the gap where the gap is to ensure that our communities as a whole are strong and vibrant.”

The organization serves the needs of people and provides critical support in five counties.  From disaster support to basics like food or water, books for children, or any number of community enrichment programs, the United Way of West Central Mississippi is there.  This important work would not be possible without the generous donations at events like Power of the Purse along with the support of volunteers in these communities.
