Tanner Allen wins National Player of the Year

Mississippi State University baseball player Tanner Allen has been named the National Player of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

The outfielder has been a dominating player for MSU all season and is also the SEC Player of the Year.

Allen has a total of 95 hits this season to go along with his 60 RBIs and has led the Bulldogs to a unforgettable year.

Tanner and the Bulldogs will be in action at 6 p.m. Tuesday, when they play Vanderbilt for the National title.
