The University of Texas at El Paso football player Tj Goodwin has committed to Mississippi Valley State University.

Goodwin made the announcement on his Twitter page on Tuesday where he confirmed that he would be transferring.

The freshman was redshirted last season with UTEP but had a great high school career at Cypress High in Texas. He threw for 19 touchdowns in his senior season.

Goodwin will be a good add to the MVSU program, which has suffered over the past few years.
