Three-vehicle accident reported on Interstate 20 eastbound

A three-vehicle accident has occurred near the 12-mile marker of U.S. Interstate 20 eastbound around 4:30 p.m.
Among the vehicles involved, an 18-wheeler has veered into the woods, one vehicle is overturned in a ditch and another in the median.
Only minor injuries have been reported. E-911 Coordinator Shane Gerrard and Chief Chuck Tate are on the scene.
Traffic is backed up for about 3.5 miles.Please take an alternate route if at all possible.
