MSU football player arrested for DUI

Mississippi State wide receiver Trip Wilson was arrested on Wednesday by campus police for driving under the influence.

After being stopped for speeding, it was determined that Wilson was under the influence which led to the arrest.

“We are aware of the matter and are continuing to collect more information,” Coach Mike Leach said in a statement. “We do not have further comment at this time.”

Wilson is a walk-on out of Tupelo, Mississippi and is a business administration major.
