Vicksburg native Bell now on UTC staff as Assistant Director of Athletics Performance

Vicksburg native and former Hinds Community College star baseball player Hunter Bell is now the Assistant Director of Athletics Performance at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

According to the UTC athletics site, Bell’s sports responsibilities are with the school’s soccer, wrestling, track & field/cross country, and men’s tennis.

Bell comes with plenty experience in the athletics field as he is remembered for his time as an outfielder for Hinds CC. He helped the Eagles to a 43-7 record in 2015 while hitting .375 before transferring to the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Bell is a 2014 graduate of Warren Central High School where he starred for the Vikings.
