Vicksburg Junior High School football player Mikey Johnson scored three rushing touchdowns on Tuesday against Pearl.

In the Gators 26-20 loss, Johnson broke out for three long runs that all resulted in touchdowns. Each one of his touchdowns went for over 30 yards and he had over 100 rushing yards for the night.

Johnson also had a big game on Aug. 24 against Byram Middle School, where he threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Clay.

Johnson and the Gators will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Germantown.
