Both SEC schools in Mississippi grabbed victories on Saturday when they faced other conference teams.

Mississippi State punished Vanderbilt 45-6 and essentially controlled the game. Quarterback Will Rogers set a new career high with four touchdown passes to take care of business for the Bulldogs.

MSU improved their record to 4-3 on the year and will prepare to take on Kentucky on Saturday.

Ole Miss is now 6-1 after taking down LSU 31-17 as Jarod Conner led the Rebels in rushing with 117 yards and three different rushers scoring touchdowns.

The Rebels will take on No. 18 Auburn on Saturday as they look to extending their win streak next week.

The Bulldogs and Rebels will have their hands full this Saturday when they face nationally ranked teams, but with a hard playing style either team can come out with a win.
