WC freshman girl’s basketball team defeated the Missy Gators on Monday

In a big rivalry match, Warren Central High School’s ninth grade girls basketball team defeated Vicksburg 47-10 on Monday.

By halftime, the Lady Vikes managed to have a big 26-5 lead and came out in the second half even stronger.

Sharmaria Hodge led the team with 23 points on the night followed by Gerarslynn Hicks who added 16 in the win.

Akeria Barnes led things for the Missy Gators by scoring four points.

The Lady Vikes will travel to Germantown on Thursday and the Missy Gators will be away at Clinton.
