A walk-off late in the game gave Vicksburg High School baseball team a 3-2 win over Porter’s Chapel Academy on Monday night.

PCA took a early 2-0 lead in the game with big hits coming from Gage Palmer, but the Gators quickly tied things up after Connor Harrigill grounded out, scoring one run.

Gage Palmer was on the mound most of the night for PCA and threw eight strikeouts before Taylor Labarre jumped in and struck out four batters.

Chris Green pitched most of the game of VHS and struck out six batters. Harrigill came in late in the match on the mound and struck out three batters.

Terrance Johnson, Green, Rashad McCroy and Mickell Jones all collected a hit in the match.  Harrigill went for two, including a big hit late in the game where he made it to third base. Palmer also collected two hits for PCA.
