Gators got a win over Murrah on Saturday

Vicksburg High School baseball grabbed a close 8-7 victory over Murrah on Saturday.

The Mustangs led 2-0 in the first inning until the Gators scored on a walk and eventually tied the game at 2-2.

Chris Green and Connor Harrigill were both on the mound for VHS as tbey both struck out four batters each.

Braylon Green collected two hits for the Gators while he and Omarion Richardson, Harrigill, and Terrance Johnson all got two RBIs.

Despite letting the Mustangs get four runs in the four inning, the Gators quickly responded to keep the game close.

Harrigill’s walk-off gave VHS the victory and they will host Port Gibson on Tuesday.
