Vicksburg High School was well represented this year in the North/South All Star Game with both Malik Franklin and head basketball coach Kelvin Carter aiding in the win over the South.

In the 107-81 win, Franklin scored 10 points.

Carter, who recently coached the Gators to a second round playoff appearance, stated “It was another great year and the North won again,” Carter said. “God continues to bless me to be a part of the sport that helped shape and mold me as a man.”

The North/South All Star Teams are selected by the Mississippi Association of Coaches for their great performances in the previous year. The best players and coaches from all over the state of Mississippi are selected to participate to showcase their talents.
