Driver hits pole on Oak Ridge Road

Entergy Mississippi reports that 640 customers are affected by power outages resulting from this accident.

At around 10 a.m. Saturday, a single vehicle accident occurred on Oak Ridge Road near Henry Road.
An elderly driver left the roadway and impacted a power pole. The driver is being evaluated by EMTs at the scene.
Powerlines appear to be functional and there is minimal damage to the impacted utility pole. The resident located nearest to the accident scene reported that their power was off, however that is the only house that is confirmed to have been impacted.
Traffic is moving slowly through the area.
