PCA came up short against Benton on Saturday

Porter’s Chapel Academy played a doubleheader against Benton Academy on Saturday but fell short of a victory.

Game one:

In game one, PCA took a 16-5 loss but managed to rack up 11 hits.

Mia Abdo and Natalie Cantin went 3 for 3 at the plate while Emily Muirhead and Emily Phillipson both went 2 for 3. Kendall Smith, Sophie Masterson, and Marley Bufkin each had one hit.

Game two:

In game two, the Lady Eagles also took a loss, 14-4.

Masterson racked up three RBIs while Abdo and Bufkin each got a hit. Cantin went 2 for 3 in the final game.

Next game:

PCA will play Madison St. Joe on Sep. 8.
