Alcorn State University football player Tyler Smith scored a touchdown on Saturday just a couple of weeks after losing his mother and sister to a deadly car crash in Issaquena County.

Smith scored the Braves’ final touchdown from a fumble recovery that went for 35 yards in the 30-7 victory over Mississippi Valley State University. After the fantastic play, Smith was reportedly scene pointing at the sky in remembrance of his loved ones.
