St. Aloysius took a 48-14 loss to Copiah Academy on homecoming night.

The Flashes started things off with a successful onside kick but Copiah quickly turned things in their favor as they took a heavy lead going into halftime.

St. Al got their two scores from a 20-yard run by Thompson Fortenberry and a short touchdown by lineman Jax Oglesby after a 60-yard pass from John David Liggett to Carson Smith.

The Flashes will host Greenville St. Joe on Friday.
