The local library has plenty of events lined up for November. Here’s a quick look at what’s ahead.
Teen Video Game Night
Tuesday, November 1st, 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
We’re kicking off International Games Month with a Teen Video Game Night!
You can bring your own console and challenge your friends!
The library has a Nintendo Switch with games you may choose from.
Pizza provided!
Color, Coffee, & Conversation
Thursday, November 3rd, 10:00 AM & 1:00 PM

Did you know studies show coloring can lower stress in adults? Come and join us for a relaxing social hour (or two!) of coloring, while enjoying a cup of coffee. Coffee, coloring pencils, and all other supplies provided by the library.
Crochet 101

Come learn crochet basics with our Children’s Librarian, Marie Cunningham.
This group meets in the Storytime Nook on the downstairs floor.
Trading Card Night: Pokemon & Yu-Gi-Oh!

It’s the second week of International Games Month! Bring your Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards for an afternoon of games, snacks, and a chance to trade cards.
Gift Wrapping with Grace Franco
Wednesday, November 9th, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Want to learn some fancy gift-wrapping techniques? Grace Franco of Sassafras will demonstrate her skills in time for the holidays!
Family Board Games
Tuesday, November 15th, 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Our third and final week of International Games Month features a night of family-friendly fun with board games! Bring your own or choose from one provided by the library. Snacks provided.
Paint Party @ the Library!
Saturday, November 19th, 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
It’s back! Our first Paint Party was a huge success! Ms. Tiffany Brown of Paintbar Vibes returns to lead the class in oil painting.
Registration is required. There are 36 slots.
Priority is given to first-time attendees.
