Yazoo County man found dead inside home on Monday

A Yazoo County man was found dead in his home on Monday, according to Yazoo County authorities.

Austin Holeman, a 22-year-old resident of Yazoo County, was found inside of his Scotland Community home just before 10 a.m.

Holeman was reported to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Yazoo County Coroner Ricky Shivers stated the wounds were likely the cause of death, however, an autopsy will be done at the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the case.
