Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department searching for murder suspect

On Monday, the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Department issued an announcement stating they were in search of a wanted suspect.

The announcement read, “On Monday, February 6, 2023, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the U. S. Marshall’s issued a warrant for Justin Bailey (31 years of age) who resides at 1063 EW Reeve Drive, Port Gibson, MS, in connection with the murder of Carl Curtis (Bubba) McDaniel on January 15, 2023. This is an ongoing investigation by the MBI and more arrests are anticipated.”
