Vicksburg man indicted on rape, robbery and kidnapping charges

David Stroud, a 50-year-old resident of Vicksburg, has been indicted on felony charges of kidnapping, rape, and armed robbery.

In September 2022, Stroud was apprehended for allegedly abducting a woman and threatening her at gunpoint before stealing $50, resulting in the robbery charge.

In Mississippi, each of these charges is considered a serious felony offense, and if found guilty, Stroud may face significant prison time.
